Before Riverside Village even had a name, we’ve been rooting for this project. Proposed as a new town center for our hometown of North Augusta alongside a brand new baseball stadium, we couldn’t be happier to work with a client. But the breadth of ideas this brand needed to cover was extensive, Riverside Village not only needed the full works in branding, but a flexible process that could handle all of the different parts of their development.
Part of what makes the Riverside Village unique is the multiple purposes that their logo needs to serve. With a slogan of “Live. Work. Play Ball!” they intend to deliver the whole package.
"Every branding project brings it's own set of challenges. As we worked through concepts, we knew that this mark had to embody a lot - riverfront living, date nights, family time, picnics in the park, shopping, and of course baseball games. Checking off all of those boxes, while delivering a mark that's simple and strong was quite a job."
- John Robeson, Sr. Designer
Beyond the mark, we needed a create a destination - cast a vision for the community. Though the stakeholders knew how amazing Riverside Village would be, we needed to illustrate and organize this picture for the rest of the world through the website and press release.
"I'm proud of our team's work on this. Lots of great ideas didn't make the cut and we definitely poured some long nights and extra love into this one, but at the end of the day, it feels like we've just put the cherry on top of something much bigger. Riverside Village is going to be something special, and I don't think it's really going to 'set in' all the way until folks walk in and experience it for the first time."
